Reports To: Head Cook and Food Service Director
Job Goal: Prepare nutritious, appetizing meals for students.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Possession of Food Handlers Permit.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Must pass physical.
- Fingerprinting is required.
- Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with diabilities to perform the essential functions.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Prepare and service required food material according to standard recipes, menus or verbal instruction.
- Operate cooking and kitchen equipment.
- Clean kitchen equipment. Keep kitchen clean and sanitary.
- Direct student helpers.
- Upon request, use computer software program in conjunction with the breakfast program for reporting purposes.
- Upon request, transport food to/from satellie kitchen.
- Perfomr related duties as requested and required for efficient operation of food service program.
